This is my top ten favorite Alien movies of all time, the best of the best. I ranked these movies not only by acting, but also on special effects, action packed, plot, enjoyment, and directing. So what's up first:
1. Predator - By far my favorite! Any director couldn't of picked a better crew, these guys were ultimate killing machines and even they were no match for Predator. Although Arnold did kill him at the end.
2. Aliens - Another well put together team, Bill Paxton and Sigourney Weaver gave spectacular performances. James Cameron never fails to impress me, the acting and special effects were solid in this movie.
3. District 9 - I was weirded out at first by the Alien bodies and the plot, then I came to realize where the Director was going with this movie. Must see in the theater!
4. Independence Day - Action, action, action! The action doesn't get better than this, along with comedy and cool special affects. Can't pass this one up while walking into Blockbuster! What gave Will Smith a start.
5. War of the Worlds - Something about this movie that made me really like it, I guess it was the thrill and horror. When that Alien tripod came out of the ground and starting zapping people, I was just horrified! And when you're horrified, you're impressed!
6. They Live - Horrible acting and horrible special effects! What made this one cool was the plot and Roddy Piper. Nothing better then a muscle bound guy shooting up Aliens left and right. "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum."
7. Fire in the Sky - Scary as hell, the scene where Travis Walton is on the Alien ship being tested on. I just hope this never happens to me!
8. Signs - Kind of like a bad dream, Mel Gibson plays a part that I never seen him play before. This one keeps you on the edge of your seat!
9. Alien - This movie will go down in history as the best special effects movie for it's time. The acting was superb and the Alien monster was awesome!
10. Alien vs. Predator - Last but not least, Alien vs. Predator. Very poor acting and no name actors. What made this movie cool was the special effects, interesting plot, and two of the baddest alien monsters battling out on screen, best Alien monsters in Hollywood hands down!
