Scariest Ghosts, Aliens, Monsters

Before seeing District 9 in the theater I got to see a bunch of new previews, one that really caught my attention was the movie The Fourth Kind with Milla Jovovich. And man does it look good!

The movie is based in modern day Nome, Alaska where mysteriously since the 1960s people have been disappearing. The director states in the trailer that the movie is based on fact, not fiction. Milla Jovovich plays a psychologist who videotapes sessions with traumatized patients and unwittingly discovers some of the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented. The movie is said to use factual never-before-seen archive footage which is integrated into the film. What makes the movie even more interesting is each person's account has very identical details. Despite multiple FBI investigations of the region, the truth has never been discovered.

So it makes me wonder, is this movie actually true. Well I did some of my own research and there have been many cases in Nome, Alaska where people have been disappearing. Not much information came up on Alien abduction. This could be kept under wraps though! I mean I never heard anything about the exorcism of Emily Rose(Anneliese Michel), just because I haven't heard of it doesn't mean it isn't true. Sometimes stories never get out in the open till they are broadcasted in a movie, book, or a play(back in the olden times).

It's funny I mention this because when I started reading comments under the trailer, people started bad mouthing the movie. Saying "it's B@#$hit, nothing ever happened like that in Nome Alaska," "Aliens don't exist," etc... One guy even said "it's simply a hoax just like Blair Witch." I just of laughed, these people are so in denial. Ok yeah, maybe the movie is a bit of a hoax and Hollywood will definitely put a big twist on it. But, let's be real here! There are Aliens from other planets! I'm sorry, there are! It's stupid to believe there's millions of planets out in space without any life forms. I've just come to a conclusion that people are very panicky as a whole just like Tommy Lee Jones in Men in Black. Yeah, it's not a very good reference, but it's true!

One guy was so offended in the comments section on Youtube it prompted him to say "what's with all the haters?" Truly this, what is with all the haters? This goes to show you why shows like UFO Hunters get cancelled. General public does not want to believe and they are too scared to believe.

Personally, I'm looking forward to this movie coming out. When I saw the District 9 previews, I thought to myself, I'm definitely seeing this movie in the theater. Now the same goes for "The Fourth Kind." I can't wait!
